I’m Mirage from Mirageportal and I have been reviewing different kinds of AI writers, AI writing tools, and AI writing assistants, today I will review this new tool that I discovered in Appsumo that is called “Katteb”.

Katteb AI Writer: Long-Form Article Writer
The main selling point of Katteb is their advanced AI writer which includes an article writing, and AI-powered copywriting tool. The majority of users of this product a bloggers, publishers, and freelance article writers.
For performance, this AI writer can generate high-quality content quickly and easily compared to a human writer. Based on the test that I conducted using the product, it was capable of writing a long-form article with a length of 500-2500.
Content Quality
For the quality, I think it’s okay, at least it can write a true long-form article since other AI writers can only write 800 words which is not enough for most cases.
The generated article has a proper use of headings from H2-H3 which is good, the paragraph length in each heading is also on point.
However, when I compare it to my favorite AI writers like Surgegraph and Seowriting.ai it still falls behind when it comes to overall quality.
Though you can still edit the content generated by Katteb to make it more natural, and improve its quality even more.
Fact Check
One of the good things that I like about this AI writer is that it’s not just writing content but also making sure that it writes only factual information. You can see it in action when you observe its AI when writing the article.
Every time it finishes writing a paragraph it automatically checks it before proceeding to the next paragraph.
This feature amazes me since I already reviewed an AI writer tool that has a fact-check feature but users need to manually check every few words in the article using their fact-checker tool, while Katteb does the fact-checking as it right the article paragraph which is a big thumbs up for me for creating an accurate content.
AI Detection Test
Some users want AI writer tools that can pass an AI detection test, so I tested the generated article of Katteb using two AI detectors.
You can see from the screenshot below that the generated article of Katteb failed on both of the tests that I conducted. So if you only want an AI content writer that passes the AI detection test Katteb might not be the one for you.
Katteb ChatBot
Katteb also offers a ChatBot that works like ChatGPT, it works almost exactly like ChatGPT since Katteb ChatBot is also powered by OpenAI’s language model.
It answers all the questions that you want to use and it also has a feature to switch between GPT-3.5 and GPT-4.
AI Art Generator
Katteb also has an AI image generation tool or what they call ‘Katteb Design’, the quality is okay, and you can generate a good-looking image, but the problem was its accuracy.
I have used a lot of AI image generators and Katteb’s design has the worst accuracy, you can see from the screenshot below the image that I got from Katteb’s image generator, first I ask for a picture of a badass cat but it generates me a photo of a room.
Then I used ChatGPT to fine-tune a prompt to use it for the Katteb image generator; I was looking for a spaceship and it generated a black-and-white photo of a man which is 100% inaccurate.

The beginners plan only costs about $9 per month but provides limited access to the usage and features like no Chrome extension and doesn’t allow to use of GPT-4 and can only generate 15K words a month.
The professional plan costs $29 monthly and allows users to create 150K words in a month but not GPT-4 access and Extension. The unlimited plan gives users all the access to what Katteb can offer, including unlimited words of articles per month.
The unlimited plan is their most expensive plan but only costs $39 per month which is a good price for an AI writer.
