Texta.ai Review 2024: Everything You Need To Know

In this article, I will share my experience and opinion with another AI writing tool– Texta.ai.

What is Texta.ai?

Texta.ai is a platform that offers functionality to help publishers. Texta.ai uses OpenAI’s language model to power its tools.

It is designed to assist publishers, writers, copywriters, or anyone in any writing-related job. It utilizes machine learning to make content easier and faster, for users to save time and focus on other tasks.

Texta.ai Key Features

To be familiar with what Texta can offer, let me give you an insight into its key features and how it performs in the real world.

AI Writer

Texta.ai advertises itself as an AI writing tool, and its AI writer is their main feature, so let’s start with a review of Texta’s AI writer.

Its AI writer can generate a blog post in just a few steps. In generating an article, users have two options: auto and manual modes.

The auto mode of the AI writer is a one-click article generator, which is okay for me, but I preferred the manual mode since it gives me more control before generating the article.

Quality Of Content Generated

In terms of quality, it’s fine; it can generate articles that are usually 900+ in length with images and embedded related YouTube videos, which is surprising.

My only concern was that it added images and visuals from Google Images, which might drag its users into copyright uses. I hope that the AI only gets images from free images like Pixabay.

The article length is my other concern; it can only generate 900+ words, which, for me, is thin content.

When we compared it to Surgegraph, the Surgegraph AI can generate unlimited high-quality articles that are highly optimized with a length of 5000-7000+ words.

However, Google said that article length doesn’t matter and there is no minimum word count to rank on Google.

It might be true, but it doesn’t change the fact that the longer and more high-quality the article, the more topics it can cover.

So, for me, I still preferred longer content over short content.

How to Generate Longform Article: Texta.ai Tutorial

Step 1: Choose a Blog Post Template

To generate a long-form article, the first thing to do is find blog post templates on your dashboard and click it to proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Choose Writing Mode

After entering the blog post templates, you can choose what mode to use; it has an auto mode, a one-click article generation, and a manual mode, giving you more control.

After choosing the mode, the next step is to enter the required information, such as the content description, article type, and tone.

Step 3: Choose Title

In auto mode, the AI will start writing after you click the generate button, but in manual mode, the next step is to choose a title.

You can choose one from the generated title; you can also regenerate the title if you are not satisfied with the suggested title of the AI.

Step 4: Choose and Edit the Outline

After choosing the title, the AI will also create an outline for your article; you can check it and edit some parts of the outline that you don’t like. After you finish, just hit the button, and the AI will start writing for your article.

Step 5: Optimized Article

The next step is SEO optimization after the AI successfully generates your article. Unfortunately, Texta.ai doesn’t have many suggestions for SEO optimization, so you will need to optimize your article without a guide.

SEO Optimization

Texta.ai also offers a content optimization feature; it has an SEO score meter like NeuronWriter and Surgegraph but lacks SEO recommendations.

It didn’t show related terms or competitors; the only data it provides is the content structure of your article.

In other words, you can’t rely on Texta.ai for SEO optimization since they only provide very little data to optimize your content.

Templates

These templates provide a starting point for various writing scenarios, contributing to the tool’s versatility and aiding users in generating content across different niches and styles.

Texta.ai offers a variety of templates akin to “cases” in other AI writing tools.

OpenAI’s language model powers it, so in other words, AI chat is just like a ChatGPT inside your Texta dashboard.

To help you decide if using Texta is worth it, here are the pros and cons you can consider.

Pros: Advantages of using Texta.ai

• Auto content generation: One of the clear advantages of using Texta is auto content generation. It can generate decent content with just one click of a button.
•  Faster article writer: Another advantage of Texta is the speed; AI is much faster at writing content than humans. An hour of work for a human writer only takes a few minutes using AI.

Cons: Disadvantages of using Texta.ai

• Lack of Important Features: The first disadvantage of Texta is the lack of important features. They have a lot of competitors, and they are falling behind when it comes to features.
•  No SEO Optimization: Another disadvantage is the lack of SEO optimization, so if you want to rank your content, you’ll need to purchase a separate SEO optimization tool like Neuronwriter.

Word Hero is not as good as Surgegraph and Neuronwriter in content generation, but their lifetime plan makes this tool special. It offers a limited lifetime, so grab one before it’s gone.

Some of WordHero’s features are long-form AI writing using GPT-3.5 or GPT-4, an AI image generator, unlimited content generation, a keyword assistant, and many useful templates.
